![]() Their Hawaiian Pizza is DELICIOUS!! You can order by the slice or by the pie! They also have salads for you vegs out there! No frivolous toppings, just good old familiar toppings like pepperoni, sausage, even Anchovies!!. My husband and I enjoy their pizza because it is the "good old days" California/New York style pizza. Since it was a Saturday, the food of the day was Tony's Pizzaria. They are dog friendly!!! Lots of pooches from all walks of the canine world visit. The staff is amazing and feel like good old "friends" that would come over to our backyard cookouts. We love the intimate and friendly establishment. They also have hard seltzer for you non-beer drinkers. Other brews for suggestion are the Level Line Pale Ale for those who want just a refreshing beer not too hoppy or Tux Nitro Milk Stout for those who want a sweeter dessert chocolate tasting pint. We are "hop-heads", so we ordered their very good IPA "Chief Peak" as usual. Now with the collaboration with Tony's Pizzaria (a few doors down) and other food trucks, they are able to open again for dine out and serving their good brews. With the current County changes back and forth, they have been closed, opened and closed again for serving brews at the tap room. We ventured over to our favorite watering hole on Thompson Blvd. Saturday morning in Ventura, the fog is lifting and the sun is beginning to peek through. They have multiple locations so please check food availability but all their locations are family friendly. They have more than stouts and ipa’s here and with a lively everyone having a good time atmosphere it’s a must stop if you are in San Diego. I was really happy I got to try this beer as I finished my trip with this one ending on a high note. The last beer I will have to mention is the Intergalactic Drift, a imperial stout with Mostra coffee and cocoa nibs, just give this beer the feel like your eating a piece of chocolate cake with a cup of coffee after a nice meal for desert. ![]() The Fall of Troy IPA, an orange vanilla milkshake ipa, reminded me a of dreamsicle as the hop flavor is there but the orange vanilla flavors hide it really well make this an awesome ipa. This beer was so amazing with the coffee cutting into the sweetness of the maple syrup, and yes it did remind me of coffee and pancakes in the morning. On this visit I stayed away from the peanut butter stout and focused on what I haven’t ever had such as the Surprise Pancakes, an imperial stout with maple syrup and coffee. They do a lot of varieties of their based peanut butter stout but I have had it before and took home the Mexican chocolate version, really good blend of sweet and heat for the record.
